Our Story
Hiya, my name is Jack Birchfield. I was born and raised in a small town nestled in the foothills of the Appalachia called Powdersville, South Carolina. I grew up running through the woods, playing any sport I could get my hands on, and making friends with anyone I met.
Fast forward a few years and I attended Clemson University, only about 30 miles from my hometown. I received a bachelor’s degree in Graphic Communications with a minor in Religious Studies. In my time there, I had the amazing opportunity to work for the Creative Solutions wing of Clemson Athletics. It was in this space that I learned from the best in the industry about not just the physical and mechanical skills of creative video production, but also the professionalism, discipline, and values needed to be successful and impact the world in a positive way.
Upon graduation, I decided to launch Birch Creative based here in Charleston, SC. The idea was (and always has been) to do video production differently. I wanted to let the focus lie on building genuine relationships with my clients, telling authentic stories, and spreading light and love through this creative medium.
Few will remember the videos and photos you make for them; but all will remember how you made them feel.
Because of that, my hope is that every person Birch Creative interacts with leaves feeling better than before. With that, we’ll make some dope content along the way too :)

We offer full-service professional video production for any of your creative video needs. We specialize in dynamic & creative social-driven content for marketing, web, or social platforms. Anything from 15 second ads for your instagram to full-scale 8 minute brand stories or music videos. We will handle all pre-production, production, and post-production needs to bring your vision to life!
Photography
Along with video production, we also offer photography services for any kind of branding or event coverage needs.
What We Don’t Do
We are not a social media management firm, nor a marketing agency. However, we often work closely with the social managers and marketing managers of different business and corporations. We try to fill the void where marketing teams or companies have a vision, and need someone to execute the content side. We provide the assets, and it’s on the client to then distribute the assets in an effective manner. We’ll give you amazing resources, and then it’s all yours to do what you need for your business.
